Crockett Tavern Museum is located in Morristown, Tennessee. It was built on the site of the boyhood home of Davy Crockett. It is a reconstruction of the 1790’s John Crockett Tavern. The museum is open Tuesday – Saturday from 11 AM – 5 PM. The 56th season runs from April 29 to October 25, 2014. General Longstreet Headquarters Museum is located in Russellville, Tennessee. This was the site of General Longstreet’s 1863 winter headquarters. Friends of the museum are renovating the historic home. It is now a Civil War museum and interpretive center. The museum is open Monday – Saturday from 11 AM – 5 PM.
