Friday, February 2nd

Owl Prowl, 5:30 PM

Ranger Jammie will be calling the owls in at campsite 33, so bring your camera and a bright flashlight.  Be sure to dress in warm clothing and be prepared to wait for a while until the owls decide to show up.

Sunday, February 4th

Nature Hike, 9:00 AM

Ranger Mayfield will be leading a two-mile hike on Trout Lily Trail.  You’ll be identifying different plants and discovering what animals are out and about.  The hike begins at the boat ramp and be sure to wear closed toed shoes and warm clothing.  You won’t want to forget to bring your camera and water.

Sunday, February 9th

Nature Hike, 9:00 AM

Meet Ranger Jammie for a fun hike down Wagon Trail/Panther Path.  You’ll meet at the ranger station and take a scenic walk along the two-mile trail.  Closed-toed shoes and warm clothing are the dress of the day. This brisk walk will be a great way to get your blood pumping on a winter morning!


Sunday, February 11th

Live!  Birds of Prey, 2:00 PM

Have you ever wanted to see an owl up close?  Here’s your chance! Join Ranger Mayfield for this great opportunity at the Visitors Center to meet Panther Creek’s newest resident, Teddy, a Barred Owl.  You’ll learn all kinds of interesting things about owls and other birds of prey.

Campfire, S’mores and Riddles, 5:30 PM

Ranger Mayfield has a fun evening planned at the upper campground pavilion of sitting around the campfire, enjoying s’mores and sharing your best riddles.  We’ll bring the supplies for s’mores, you bring your best riddles!
